Our Mission

People for Justice in Palestine is a community-based organization that fosters awareness and inspires change around issues of social justice in Palestine and Israel through film festivals, community gatherings, panel discussions, and conversations.

Our Values & Principles

We believe the core issue in Palestine and Israel is a system of oppression that favors one people at the expense of another. This system, as expressed in modern political Zionism, diminishes the humanity of all involved to unequal degrees through settler colonialism, apartheid, and violations of basic human rights. We support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and reject a “both-sides-ism” that fails to recognize the gross imbalance of power between Israelis and Palestinians. Our work is grounded in a commitment to justice, dignity, and human rights.
